The GK herd is built around foundation
families purchased from several
Australian dispersal sales, along with
females resulting from imported Canadian
embryos and Canadian dams we selected
ourselves.
Cow families originated from Brylor, IBR,
Oakleigh Park and Kansas.
We place great emphasis on udders, feet,
temperament and the ability of the
female to raise a calf well and go back
into calf under Queensland conditions.
At the end of 2006 we purchased the
outstanding Canadian females, Red Howe
MS Ruba DDH 7H and Red Compass MS
Dividend 815J, to add two more, well
known cow families, to our herd.
