BULK HAULAGE
Gavin started with his first bulk
stockfeed haulage unit in July 2000 as a
contractor for Ridley Agriproducts in
Dalby, Qld.
We introduced a Primemover and Trailer
combination to the mill and increased
the carrying capacity from the mill by a
huge amount. Within five years we
were running three units out of the
Dalby mill including road train
combinations.
In 2004 we decided to invest in the best
available ‘state of the art’ stockfeed
transport equipment by importing our
first Walinga Ultralite Trailer from
Canada. We increased our
efficiency ten fold. We now have a
second one. These Walinga units
are air discharge trailers and fully
hand held remote controlled.
Gavin has since been over to Canada in
June 2007 to view the Walinga Factory
and gain new ideas on stockfeed
transport.
GK Livestock now operate stockfeed units
out of a number of different companies'
mills including Top Country at Roma and
Ridley Agriproducts at Dalby and
Rockhampton. We also do haulage of
stockfeed/grain products for other

Our 45 foot Stocktrailer has been
specifically designed to transport stud
stock and prime beef to shows and sales.
Complete with captarps, it has three
individual pens with gates that move to
any position in the crate with ease, to
adjust pen sizes.
