RED ANGUS NATIONAL SHOW AND SALE, JULY 2008

Junior Champion heifer and top priced female, GK Red Tinsel C5 (10mths)
Being sashed by new director Sue Boland of Victoria and paraded by Gavin Iseppi.
Tinsel C5 was purchased by Guy and Pat Jellicoe of Serpentine, Western Australia for $10,000.

 
GK Red Tinsel C5 at 10mths by Red Basin Sensation 702E.
C5 is out of the two year old female GK Red Tinsel A9.

GK Red Blockbuster B5 was named the 2008 National Champion Bull.
At 24months he weighed 1035kgs. Blockbuster is pictured with John Horne
(Elders Studstock) and Gavin at the halter. Blockbuster was the top priced bull
selling to the Surridge Family of Narrikup, Western Australia for $10,000.

Thanks to Team GK for all their help at the National and the other shows on the
circuit. Ben Drain, Fiona McWilliam, Brooke Iseppi, Jake Iseppi and Nathan Stevens.

QUEENSLAND ANGUS FEATURE SHOW, ROMA, MAY 2008

Gavin Iseppi parades GK Red Blockbuster B5 (22 months) the Senior and
Grand Champion Angus Bull and Interbreed Senior Champion Bull of the
2008 Roma Show.  GK Livestock also showed Calf Champion Angus female
GK Red Tinsel C5 who became the Interbreed calf champion female of the show,
Junior Champion Angus female, GK Red Ruby B15, Senior and Grand Champion
Angus Female ,GK Red Arabella A30. Arabella went on to be the Senior Interbreed
Champion female and Supreme Female of the Show. GK also won Interbreed
Breeders Group.

SYDNEY ROYAL SHOW 2008

2008 Sydney Royal Show successes included; GK Red Arabella being sashed
Best Red Angus Exhibit.   Pictured with Arabella are Julie Pocock holding the calf,

GK Red Angus also won Reserve Junior Champion heifer with GK Red Ruby B15 ,
Reserve Senior Champion Bull and the most successful Red Angus Exhibitor Award.

GK Red Arabella by GK Red Xtra Flash X11 at 27months. Grand Champion
Red Angus Female and Best Red Angus Exhibit shown with 7 week old bull calf
at foot by Red Brylor Masterplan 17M

GK Red Blayze B6 was named the Reserve Senior Champion Red Angus bull.
B6 weighed 932kgs at 21months with an EMA of 132cm2 and fat scan of 13/7mm.
Blayze B6 will sell at the Red Angus National Sale in July.

GK Red Arabella was named Supreme Beef Exhibit at the 2008 Dalby show recently.

GK Red Ruby B15 (16mths) was the Champion British Breed Female
at the 2008 Allora Show in February 2008. Ruby is pictured with exhibitors
Gavin and Jake Iseppi.

The Queensland Red Angus Meeting was hosted by the Iseppi family at "Leafmore" Dalby
on the 13th of October 2007.  Thanks to all the members who attended on the day.

2007 BRISBANE ROYAL

Our team of four head had a very successful Brisbane this year taking out both the
Red Angus Champions with GK Red Absolute Power A7 and GK Red Arabella A30. 
GK also won Reserve Champion female with a 12 month old daughter of
Red Brylor Stallion 19J, GK Red Dina B9. B9 is a maternal sister to Dina X3 and Zenith.

Absolute Power A7(GKA07) at 24mths of age. 1095kgs 134cms2 EMA 11/16mm fat.

GK Red Arabella A30 (GKA30) at 20mths. Sired by GK Red Xtra Flash X11.

GK Red Dina B9(GKB09) at 12mths. Sire Red Brylor Stallion 19J

RECORDS BROKEN AT DUBBO 2007

Jake and Gavin Iseppi with Absolute Power A7 after setting the new National Sale record of $18,000 
at Dubbo 2007, purchased by Swan Hill Cattle Company Blackall.

GK Red Dina X3 2007 National Champion Female and new sale (female) record holder
selling for $16,000 to Jutland Park.

GK RED DINA X3 was judged Champion Interbreed Female
Senior and Grand Champion Red Angus Female and
Supreme Red Angus Exhibit at the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

She is a four and a half year old daughter of “FARGO” Badlands Bonus 702,
and showed with a six month old bull calf at foot by GK Red Xtra Flash X11.

GK RED ABSOLUTE POWER A7

GK RED ABSOLUTE POWER A7 was the Supreme Interbreed Bull at the
2007 Toowoomba Royal Show.

He was Senior Champion Red Angus Bull at the 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show
weighing 924 kg at 20 months with an EMA of 126 sq cm and fat scan of 9/8 mm.

Semen available for sale.

GK RED ARABELLA A30

GK Red Arabella A30 Reserve Junior Champion Sydney Royal 2007.
Arabella also won Supreme Beef Female at Pittsworth, Millmerran and Lowood Show 2007.

GK RED ARABELLA A30 at 15 months by GK Red Xtra Flash X11 was
Supreme Beef Female at 2007 Millmerran Show. She was
Runner Up Interbreed Female at 2007 Toowoomba Royal and
Reserve Junior Champion Red Angus Female at 2007 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
 

The GK Sydney Show cattle, take a well deserved break after judging.
